XOHM brings together leaders in technology, media, and the Internet to develop and deliver an expansive and fast wireless mobile Internet experience.

THE COLLABORATION

XOHM and its network partners are working to build the WiMAX network across America rapidly and efficiently. Current plans are to test-launch the network in Chicago and Washington D.C. by year-end 2007, with a larger roll-out encompassing at least 100 million people by year-end 2008.

XOHM and its device and service partners have already taken major steps on a global scale to propel production and adoption of low cost chipsets and accelerate development of innovative quality WiMAX-enabled devices and applications.

GUIDANCE

Sprint WiMAX Device and Chipset Ecosystem program has a goal of providing guidance and advice to ecosystem participants to help participants overcome hurdles to accelerate the pace of WiMAX embedded device and development.
